Learning Time and Date on a Computer for Kids

On this page, kids will learn:

• Getting to know the computer clock
• Viewing date and time

1. Understanding the Computer Clock

The computer clock is usually displayed at the bottom-right corner of the screen (Windows) or the top-right corner (Mac). This clock shows the current time based on the computer settings.

2. Viewing Date and Time

1. Click the clock on the corner of the screen.
2. The screen will display the calendar and current time.
3. Kids can see the day, date, month, and year.

3. Setting Time and Date

1. Open the Settings menu.
2. Select Time & Date.
3. Change the time or date as needed and click Save.

4. Practice Reading Time

Kids can practice reading the digital clock on the screen and write down:

• The current hour
• The current minute
• Today’s day and date

This exercise helps kids understand time and date more quickly!
