The keyboard is used to type letters and numbers. It helps us give commands to the computer.

Practice: type your name 10 times.

The mouse helps move the pointer and select items on the screen.

Try double-clicking to open a folder.

CPU (Main Unit)

The CPU is the brain of the computer. It processes all commands.

Do not open it without adult supervision.

Speaker / Headset

Speakers produce sound. Use a safe volume level.

Headsets help you focus during online learning.

Webcam

A webcam is a small camera used for video calls.

Turn it off when not needed.

A printer prints documents and pictures on paper.

Ask an adult before changing ink.

Fun Activity: Guess the Computer Parts

A short game: the teacher shows a picture (or you can use the images above), then kids point to the correct computer part name. Give a small reward to the fastest one!

  • Prepare 5 pictures (monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, webcam).
  • Ask: "Which one is used for typing?" → Answer: Keyboard.
  • Create a mini quiz with 3 questions and see who answers the fastest.

Additional visual materials will be explained directly during the class session.
